Betway Review

It's likely that you've already heard about Betway, who aren't really that new to the entire industry nowadays, with their roots dating back to the year of 2006. That's a long time for something internet-based, so it would be reasonable to expect that – if they've managed to survive for so long – these guys are doing something right. Thankfully, there isn't even that much to add to that – you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who's light years ahead of Betway, because these guys are really good. Read on if you aren't convinced – you will be at the end of the article.

Betway - The Pros

Let's start with the basics – the interface is modern and you aren't going to get lost, while the odds do hover around the mark where we don't mind them being. Meanwhile, the customer support, which naturally includes a live chat function, is excellent and so is the banking. It should be noted that the accepted deposit and withdrawal methods differ from country to country, so that's something you might want to check out before jumping in.

We also appreciate the large number of event-related promotions, be it the money-back offers for the Formula One races or the NHL Overtime Specials, which do add a lot of spice to what might otherwise seem to be a fairly run-of-the-mill experience.

Another really nice thing is the Betway Plus loyalty scheme that constantly rewards you with more and more benefits without the need to do anything special. The system is quite complex, but let's put it simply here – punters get Plus Points for their wagers and those points can then be converted for various benefits. The more you bet, the more you get – and the six different tiers, which range from the basic Blue to the high-end Privé, assure that you'll never run out of stuff to get.

Finally, we'd like to give Betway the thumbs up for the live betting, which seems to slightly above the current industry standard. Not because of the interface, but because of the reasonably large list of bets that you can choose from.

Betway - The Cons

There surely have to be some cons as well, right? Well, we aren't going to lie to you – there are, although it should be stressed that they're not very serious.

For example, those who're used to betting at bookies like Pinnacle won't enjoy the betting limits and the fact that the odds don't tend to be at the top of the market.

We'd also appreciate some major improvements in the live betting section – the interface is excellent and there's not much to complain about when it comes to the range of offers either, but we certainly wouldn't mind getting unrestricted live streams (at the time of writing, they were accessible only from a handful of countries) or at least an access to some in-play statistics. Showing the current result just doesn't cut it.

Summary

At the end of the day, Betway are a really good bookie that you should definitely check out if you're currently looking for something new. It might also be a good addition to your current arsenal, of course, but let us remind you that you probably won't get the most out of the loyalty scheme unless you place Betway high on your preference list, which is definitely something you should think about.

With services this good, however, Betway could easily become your favourite bookie and we certainly wouldn't blame you for making that switch, because there is plenty to like about Betway. And yep, you can get a free bet for your first deposit to make the deal even sweeter!
