An interesting match today at Sheffield between the former Premier League outfit Wednesday and Leyton Orient. The Owls have had a great start in the new season after beeing relegated from the Championship with 3 wins and a draw in the first 4 rounds. But than came a rough patch where they've lost 4 on the trot. It is interesting enough to see that all of their 4 loses in a row where by a single goal margin and it would be fair to say that they've been somewhat unlucky in some of those games. Anyway the the rough patch seems to be over, they've firstly had a goalless draw @home with Oldham and than they've recorded a great win away to Notts County 2-0. The morale is high again in the team and as manager Irvine said 'the people are feeling better and the confidence is back'. Jermaine Johnsone who's yet to play this season is near the senior return and could be in the squad for this match but appart from that the Owls have full squad to choose from.
On the other hand their visitors haven't lost in their last 3 outings having picked up 1 win and 2 draws but against some weaker teams at the moment like Wallsall and Brentford. Two of these games were also at home and its clear even from the previous season that Orient has a big problems when playing away. It was their home form that has kept them in the league last year when they avoided relegation by a single point. They've managed only 3 wins on the road last season and I see them in trouble against mrale boosted Wednesday side who's gaol this season is at least to reach the play-offs.
Home win with some medium stakes should be a good bet.
