If anyone can win against Washington Capitals, it is definitely Boston Bruins who have already done twice in this season, 3:1 in Washington and 4:1 in Boston. Generally, if the opponent is not completely weak, such as Buffalo Sabers who received five goals by Boston, or too defensive, Boston Bruins often score three or four goals per match. Washington Capitals are too offensive so that there is not enough space for Boston's goal scorers. Already for a few matches, Washington deals hard with the opponents and except for Carolina and NY Islanders, they allow everyone at least two goals. Boston Bruins are very serious opponent, more serious than the previous opponents of Washington, in my opinion, the first candidate for the title so I believe that they will score more than two goals tonight. On the other hand, Washington Capitals are a mighty team that should not allow their net to be filled, which means not more than three or four goals. Boston recently lost defenseman Johnny Boychuk to a broken left arm, he will miss at least the next three weeks. Marco Sturm (knee surgery) and Marc Savard (post-concussion symptoms) remain on injured reserve. Center of Washington, Marcus Johansson, who has been out since Oct. 23 with a hip flexor, could be back tonight. Tyler Sloan, who has also been battling a hip flexor, is listed as probable.
