Before a game preview I just had a quick summary of my losing bets since I joined here and I wasn't pleased with a bad luck I'm having. Have to say that looking back I would probably take almost all of those bets again with the same confidence. 12 of my 16 lost bets were missed by a virtue of 1 goal. I was also rather unfortunate in many of those having bad beats (like in poker) where losing a bet from clear 3-0 lead then losing an over bet with the score 2-0 in 22nd minute, also Marseille to beat Zilina with 1.5 hcp at home where the game ended 1-0 and we all know what happened in Slovakia in the same game, Belgium conceeding in 94th minute against Austria and all those draws when I backed a certain team to win. Last night I decided to take a pick on Detroit in NHL but the game ended 2-2 in regular of course with Zetterberg scoring in the 2nd minute of overtime. My bad beat just goes on and on and I would rather have some larger misses than this what I'm getting now but than again it only proves it that the selection of my bets is quite OK but without luck. We are still not that far behind the profit but if this bad luck continues in next several game I'll be forced to take a break for a week or 2.
Lets finally start with a preview. This game has an over written all over it. Burnley have had some missing players recently but they've managed to return home with 2 good draws away to QPR and Norwich respectively and now they'll face Doncaster a team that has a pretty good season so far. The visitors are coming into this game on the verge of a 2-1 home win against Millwall and will look to get something out of this game in order to reamin in the upper part of the table. Both teams are on 22 points only 2 behind the play-off zone. There's one thing that Doncaster has been doing very good of late and that's scoring goals no matter if they play away or at home. They've scored a total of 14 goals in their last 7 games without failing to score in any of those games. It's a very good record and it certainly shows us what is their strongest part of the team.
On the other hand Burnley has been a difficult team to beat of late having lost only 1 game in their last 9 but have had a lot draws during this period, 6 in total ( 5 of those where away from home), and will look to bounce back after their first home loss of the season against Reading 0-4 in the last home game. Burnley ia also highly efficient when playing at home having scored 15 goals in 7 games where they've scored 3 or 4 goals on 4 occasions. Burnley's manager Brian Laws is having a selection problems for tonight's clash the one that every manager would like to have. Having seen Martin Paterson scoring 2 goals away @Norwich and with Iwelumo beeing a leading scorer in the team with 8 goals especially efficient at home he's not sure who'll start the game and has an option to start with both of them. It only shows in which direction this game will go and having in mind the recent goal scoring record of Doncaster I just can't see less than 3 goals in this game. The odds at Ladbrokes have the most value. High stakes!
