These two have a solid history and Nadal leads the head-to-head record by five to three. He has always struggled to contain Roddick's huge serve, however. And since he has taken a break before the Masters, he has not had any solid match practice for a long, long time - on the other hand, Roddick was playing quite well in Paris. And before that, he was not exceptional. Losses to Garcia-Lopez and Melzer were pretty poor and the tight win against Troicki was nothing he should be proud of. I am sure that he will start off slowly and although it is well possible that he will win in the end, i believe the scoreline will be tight and so 3.5 games are nice head start at a solid price. This will definitely be a cracking match, so look forward to both guys raising their game. Another argument may be the fact that Nadal was complaining about health problems and we know that it is something he always struggles with at the beginnings and the ends of seasons. Roddick is a player that takes his chances and he should run this one close at least.
