Vancouver Canucks lost three matches at home, three within 60 and the last of them was two days ago, 2:3 against St. Louis Blues. That defeat discontinued a series of four very convincing victories, which came after a series of four defeats, three of them also convincing. Tonight, Canucks have a chance to bounce back from that home defeat and stay the leader at the Northwest Division. They will attack from the first second of the match and I believe they will score at least one goal in the first period of the match. They succeeded in that on almost every home match in the season. On the other hand, Canucks' goalie, Roberto Luongo, is not very reliable. He had .875 Sv% in their previous match against each other, one month ago and allowed one goal already in 3rd minute of the first period. Canucks scored two goals in the first period on that match. Hiller, goalie of the Ducks allowed those two goals, but he was very good on the goal on that match, with 9.23 Sv% (36 saves). Ducks are weak on road, they allowed even 45 goals on 14 matches and there were exactly 2 scored goals in the first period on the seven their away matches. That means nothing, but I think there will be goals in the first period of tonight's match, over 1.5 goals, but I will try with exactly two because of the much better odds. I expect 1:1.
