Atlanta Trashers won even ten of the previous twelve games. With tonight's victory they could tie Washington Capitals for first place in the Southest Division. But, tonight's opponent, Tampa Bay Lightning are also in this division and they have a similar ambitions. They would be just a point out with a victory, but with one game less than Capitals, too. So, it will be very interesting game to watching. Both teams like fast hockey, with a lot of shots - 30.8 S/G of Trashers versus 32.6 of Lightning. They already played two games this season against each other, and Trashers had 30 shots on each of them, while Ligthning had 33 and 35 shots. As a result, we had a large number of goals in both games - Lightning won both, 5:3 and 5:2. Also, in both games we had very early goal and over 1.5 goals in the first perido. Those are good bets, especially taking the experience from their earlier games into consideration. But, who knows, I prefer shots on goals in this case, since I guess that Manino will save Trashers' goal. He played only one game, just against Lightning and made GAA 1.50 with Sv% .938. However, I am sure that there will be a lot of attempts to score. Trashers are always aggressive, whether playing at home or away, and as for Tampa Bay we can speak the same. I'm pretty sure in this pick.
