Ipswich had long series of defeats that not only divided them from top of the standing, but brought them close to dangerous zone. They discontinued the series of six defeats in a row by victory over Leicester, 3:0, in the previous round. In this season, Ipswich played draw only three times, and only once at home, where they have equal number of victories and defeats - five, with aligned goal difference, 15:15. Watford has three points more and one game less than Ipswich, and with three points from this game they would catch up to the first six places on the table, a positions that are important for fight for placing into Premier League. However, the problem is with Watford that they cannot keep a long row of good results. They binded three victories only once in this season but that was at the end of the starting series where they had four victories, three draws and one defeat in the first eight rounds. Now they are looking for the third victory in a row for the second time but after previous series of seven matches without a victory (four draws and three defeats). Ipswich did not win on the last 11 mutual matches, to which can even be added the one in FA Cup. Among these matches, only three were draws, one away and two at home, both in the last two seasons. Today, they will look for victory after such a long drought period but in this season, they binded only two victories, so, having in mind the bad tradition on matches with Watford and the bad shape, a draw for Ipswich would be a full cap and realistic outcome.
