Leverkusen VS Hoffenheim

Bayer Leverkusen welcomes Hoffenheim in round 10 of the Bundesliga. In this one I am playing against Hoffenheim which definitely gives much focus on the Champions League and it has been hard on them in the league. Bayer is far from convincing and concedes goals but they have risen their attack to a high level and can score a couple against anyone. Both teams are far from places they desire to be in the league and Bayer is only 12`th with 11 points while Hoffenheim is 8`th with 13 points. Bayer has 1-1-2 at home this season which is their biggest weakness and a cause for concern. That leaky defense has conceded in all but 1 home game and usually more than 2 goals. They had a great chance against Dortmund leading 2:0 but in the end lost it 2:4. That was, however, their last league loss and 1 of 2 losses from the last 10 matches played. They won 6 of those 10 matches and the ones played lately have shown all the power they possess. In the league they came away with a 2:6 win against Werder and in the cup they just tore apart M`Gladbach with 5:0. That is their most convincing win lately and against a strong opponent. Maybe it will turn Bayer in the right direction but nobody knows, we can only speculate. At least, besides the long-term injured, Leverkusen has all available. Hoffenheim has 2-0-2 away from home but also 2-1-2 at home. Their big home run without a loss has come to an end and I suspect t is directly connected with the Champions League. They disappointed a couple of times so far and didn`t bring the needed energy in the game. The first time playing in the Champions League is a big motivation and on wednesday they have a crucial match for second place. Against Lyon they have to take something or they will have no chance for second place. As in the Champions League, Hoffenheim has shown some very loose defending in the league as well. The losses to Fortuna and Frankfurt and Leipzig at home show just that and the whole team just hasn`t been focused. Hoffenheim did take wins over Nurnberg and Stuttgart lately but they are one of the weakest teams in the league. Hoffenheim has 2-1-4 from the last 7 in all competitions. Hoffenheim also has a list of longterm injured players but also Bittencourt(mid.7-0) and second scorer Szalai(8-4) added lately. Possible changes are expected in Hoffenheim in order to freshen the team. Leverkusen has some good matches behind them and inspired performances. There should be goals but I will risk it going for the straight home win.
