Tromso welcomes Molde in round 28 of the Eliteserien. This one goes down to motivation and in that aspect, the visitors seem more motivated. Tromso is a solid home side but lately, they don`t show it. The position in the middle of the table was quite secure some rounds back but now they re just 6 over the relegation place. But with 3 rounds to go this 6 points will probably be enough to avoid the stress. If they wake up today and show an inspired performance it will be totally the opposite of what they are showing lately. Tromso lost 4 of the last 5 matches and was even weak against the teams fighting against relegation. Only 0:0 with 15`th Stabaek, 0:1 against 14`th Lillestrom and 1:2 against 13`th Start.
Tromso has 33 points and is placed 10`th. With 7-2-4 at home, they are right in the middle but as I said they dipped quite a lot of late.
Molde is in third place with 50 points and 2 behind the second-placed Brann. Second is well in reach but first will be tough to achieve. Rosenborg has 5 points advantage and in 3 rounds it doesn`t seem likely. Molde probably woke up a bit too late for the party. Yet, they are in high form in the last rounds and want to at least secure that Europa place. The problem, this season, for Molde was those poor away performances but they have improved a lot. Molde won 5 of the last 6 matches and 3 of those were on the road which brings their total to 5-4-4 away. Molde have been the best attacking side in the league with 54 goals but scored twice as less away from home.
Molde has a very good history with Tromso and won 8 of the last 10 losing once.
There is a big handicap however for Molde missing today the best striker Halland(25-12). There are still high scorers like Aursnes and Hestad, both with 8.
Tromso though should have even more problems missing a couple of regulars: Bakenga(att.25-2), Asen(att.18-2), Nilsen(att.26-3) and probably Berntsen(mid.25-3).
Odds already dropping on Molde. They look far more motivated and capable today.
