Osijek hosts Inter Zapresic in round 6 of the HNL. The hosts are placed as overwhelmig favorites but this doesn`t seem realistic. The difference on the table is only 1 point as Osijek is 4`th with 2-3-0 so far while Inter is 6`th with 2-2-1 till now. Osijek doesn`t lose matches as they have a great team play but they are always clouded with a level of uncertainty. Osijek is in midst of the Europe league matches and often plays with almost a reserve squad. I have to give them credit as they played 1:1 with Dinamo and won away with Lokomotiva 2:3 resting about 9 players. Even they won that game it could have been easily 3:1 for Lokomotiva with some sitters missed and a blatant dive given as penalty. Osijek is good, no doubt about, but for 1.5 odds it is not worth it. Inter has risen their game this season and with a few influential players brought in they can make trouble far any team, and they have. Inter finished on 8`th place last season and that was the objective. Now with a few quality players brought in the target is 6`th place. The management is satisfied with the work coach Toplak does and he signed the contract for 2 more years. Toplak was not happy with the departures last season but is more happy with the players he has to train today. The preparation was good for Inter and culminated with a win over Maribor. They won over Cibalia 3:1 and made a great comeback against Hajduk drawing 2:2. Their only loss so far was against Slaven at home 0:1 while their only game away was against Rudes which they won 0:2. It was a pretty even match but chances mostly coming for Inter which won on experience I would say. There is a question what Inter can do on travels this season and this might answer a few questions. Osijek may rest or may not rest players as it is an evening match but I have to try with Inter for a value bet.
