St. Louis Cardinals VS San Diego Padres match analysis

Some will say that it is redemption time for these times (I hope it will work better than it worked for Russell Hantz in Survivor Redemption Island) as they failed to win anything. When we talk about St. Louis, main topic is Albert Pujols. The three-time NL MVP led the league with 42 home runs and 118 RBI last year. Still, .312 average was a personal lowest in his 10 seasons. His contract situation(can become free agent at the end of the season) and the Wainwright injury are coming after disappointing 2010 campaign for St. Louis. With Wainwright sidelined, Chris Carpenter will had to step up. He put together solid year in 2010, going 16-9 with a 3.22 ERA in 35 starts and was the strongest in the team with 235 innings. San Diego Padres were one of the biggest surpirises a year ago but they came up short. Expectations are much lower now, as Adrian Gonzalez went to the Boston Red Sox. Few more players are gone, so we can say that they are rebuilding their team. St. Louis is 5-0 in their last five home games. I would rather recommended clean bet for 1.55, but due to competition reasons I will go with handicap. Good Luck.
