Champions League isn't competition where you can expect a lot of goals, except in cases when there is a big difference in quality of the opponents. Here, it isn't that case, because we have two strong sides, Chelsea and Valencia. Their first mutual game in this group finished tie, 1:1. It was their the fifth match against each other and in four of them we had 2 or 3 goals. Chelsea was more successful with 2 wins and three tie results, so Valencia didn't win. Chelsea is in its bad period in the Premier League, so that another disappointing result will be a crash for them and their coach, because this is the last match in the group and Chelsea need win to go in the next round of the competition. They don't want to play 0:0, they must score to try win. Only Michael Essien is injured and there isn't a reason to play bad tonight. Chelsea won Genk 5:0 in London, but their other four games in the group finished with 2 or 3 goals. On the other hand, Valencia had only two such games, one against Chelsea, and another in Leverkusen where they lost 1:2. Four injuries are on their side, Canales and Banega in the middle of the pitch, and defenders Ricardo Costa and Victor Ruiz. Valencia is in good form, but Chelsea on its ground is a favorite to win tonight. I expect that they won't score more than twice, and Valencia not more than once. GL.
