Viking hosts Aalesund in round 9 of the OBOS Ligaen. It is the battle of the second Viking and first and still unbeaten Aalesund. Both teams relegated from Eliteserien last season but how things are going they look good to promote again. There has been some selling of players but Viking brough also some interesting ones. Zlatko Tripic came from Sheriff, Defender Markus Nakkim from Vålerenga, Leo Skiri Østigård from Molde. Tripic is the second scorer with 5 goals while Hoiland in his second season in Viking has 6 goals. Viking so far has 3-0-1 at home with 12:5 gd while Aalesund has 3-0-0 away with 8:4 gd. Aaalesund is also the only undefeated team so far with 6-2-0. That will today be put to the test as there are a lot of players questionable to play today because of injuries. Adam Ørn Arnarson and Torbjørn Agdestein steped out from the last match with injuries while from before Daniel Leo Gretarsson, Nenass, Bjørn Helge Riise and Andreas Lie didn`t play. All are a doubt to play. If for instance the first scorer Agdestein doesn`t play it will be a big blow. There are a lot of ifs and maybes coming from Aalesund. Aalesund has very good stats facing Viking in recent seasons and beat them 4 times in their last 5 visits. So I am not completely happy taking the home win even though Viking played with harder opponents at home. 3 times Viking took convincing wins scoring 3 or more goals. Aalesund has so far played one match finishing under 2.5 goals while Viking did it 4 times but mostly away from home. I like overs in this one.
