Bayern Munchen II hosts the newcomers Pipinsried in round 6 of the Regionalliga Bayern . Some other teams have played 2 matches more so there is big room for improvement. Bayern is 4`th with 11 points and 3-2-0 so far with 14:7 goal difference. Bayern has struggled away from home even against the new teams showing their traveling sickness this season again. They only managed 2:2 with Garching and the newcomers Unterfohring. At home however the performances have been much better. Here they demolished Ingolstadt II with 5:0 while they also beat the strong Schweinfurt with 2:1. Then they had a big amount of injuries to worry about but still prevailed. The youth team of Bayern has immense talent and they show it every season. Some of the players already played for Bayern senior team in the audi cup recently and didn`t dissapoint. The youngsters are playing especially good on home ground where last year were the second best home team with only 2 losses.
Pipinsreid is the new team in the league and as often goes with Oberliga team they are far from adapting to the conditions. The defense is leaky as hell and they like to push the ball forward. The team is not very young as the average age is almost 25 and that speaks of limitations. They also have a player coach named Hurzeler and that is something you don`t see on the field quite often. He is also prone to getting yellow and red cards as I see. Pipinsreid already showed their limitations on the field when they lost 4:0 to Nurnberg II and also 4:0 to Augsburg II. Against the newcomers Eishstat they took 3:3 and won over Unterfohring 1:0. I see the youth teams making big problems for them and Bayern II is the best youth team, on home ground especially.
The defender Daniel Barna is injured for Pipinsried while Bayern II has big longterm injuries: Felix Götze, Nicolas Feldhan and Thomas Isherwood, Aexander Gschwend, Valentin Micheli and Michael Strein.
There isn`t much to say in this one. I expect the quality difference will be pretty visible on the field and the hosts will take this with some goals to spare.
