Two teams in abysmal form square up at the Amex Stadium at the halfway point of the Premier League (PL) season. Neither team have managed a single win in the last five matches, and are in need of a win to halt a slide down the table.
Watford may look for some confidence in their away form this season. 13 points from nine matches is on par with Tottenham and Leicester, and is the sixth best tally in the league. However, after an initial three wins and one draw in the first four matches, the Hornets have since lost four of their five last matches away from home.
Brighton, with 18 points from 18 matches, are residing in 13th place in the table, but after their recent poor form, they are now just three points above the relegation spots, and points are needed. To do that, they need to break a spell at the Amex. Although hard to beat, the team have not won once here in the last six matches (D5, L1).
