Sion VS Xamax

Sion welcomes Xamax in round 3 of the Swiss Super League. Sion so far has a win over St.Gallen away 4:2 and a home loss to Lugano 1:2. Xamax has a win over Luzern away 2:0 and a home draw against Basel 1:1. Xamax is definitely the underdog of this tie and of the whole league as well. They have the lowest budget of the league and Sion has even 3 times the value. But that doesn`t always matter. Xamax is the newcomer of the league but did great so far. They have that enthusisam that has enhanced their game and saw them surprise Luzern away but also were very tough against Basel. Basel was better but Xamax didn`t give up and drew the game at the end. Efficiency had been great for Xamax with not so many shots converted nicely. Xamax just dominated in the Challenge League last season picking up 20 point advantage till the end. There they had no match and it seems they will do well this first season in the Super League showing great signs. There hasn`t been much selling during the break and the team will bee almost the same. Sion did sell some of their best players like Cunha to Leipzig for 15 mill., Dimarco to Inter for 7 mill. while Ucan and Cumart returned from loan to Fener and Basel. They did bring Rossi from Boavista but all together spent very litle. We shalll see how this will influence the team which struggled at home last season picking up only 4 wins and 8 draws. So far they surprising lost at home to Lugano but also did well against the Europe comited St.Gallen. We will probaby see some goals in their matches again but today I lean towards the newcomers which so far did nothing wrong.
