Orgryte welcomes Falkenberg in round 11 of the Superettan. It is also the top of the table clash as Orgryte is second with 22 points while Falkenberg has a point more. Both teams were not tipped as the prime contenders for promotion but have shown great resilience and a real attacking threat. Orgryte scored 20 goals so far while Falkenberg scored 22 and they have players in fine form.
Orgryte has been impressive at home this season picking up 4 wins so far with a gd. of 11:2. Truth be told they haven`t had strong opposition at home but just Hacken which they beaten by 2:0. This will be the second big test and I gather it will be much harder to dominate.
Falkenberg had only 2 away losses last season and they are on track this season as well. I had them to beat Varnamo on the last travel and they did with 4:1. But they have shown big defensive frailities and Varnamo created numerous chances in first half and should have been leading. Falkenberg picked up the pace in second half but still looked very fargile. They have been unconvincing in most of their away matches so far as they beat Landskrona 2:3, Brage 3:4, Varnamo 1:4. They also played Hacken 1:1 and beat Gais 0:2. Falkenberg has Parsson in fine form scoring 5 and the newcomer Egbuchunam scoring 4 goals.
I am wacking my head on what is the sensible beat here as I don`t really trust the visitors while Orgryte has serious problems. Goals would have been the best option but the hosts have some really important absences today: Montiel(mid.9-7, first scorer), Sahlin(def.4-0), Engstrom(def.10-3), Lindstrom(mid.10-0), Aliev(att.9-2).
Falkenberg is also without the captain Joza(def.9-0), Chatto(mid.2-0) and Lassagard(mid.0-0).
An away win would maybe be better but I am sticking with goals. 3 at least.
